Two years after the record One thousand years, the Nomads come back with a new project, born during the months of lockdown. It is Only human beings, an unreleased album that will be released on 23th April. This record revolves around three essential words: values, life, love. As reported on the band's website, which this year makes 58 years of business, "these words are the starting point for each song on the album full of food for thought on the particular and tragic moment we are going through and on our existence". Only humans was anticipated by the single Phrases in fire, published last 9th April. It's about a ballad, in full Nomadic style, with Celtic sounds. In the video clip they are present artists of various kinds (musicians, dancers, circus, etc.), this category among the most affected during the pandemic. The video therefore stands as a hymn to life and the rebirth of art.

Only human beings: the homage of the Nomads to their friend Augusto Daolio

Nomads Only Humans is a particular record for two reasons. The first concerns the title track, which sees the collaboration of Enzo Iacchetti, a longtime friend of the band. The second is instead the dedication that Beppe Carletti, the only original member of the Nomads, he wanted to make his late friend Augusto Daolio, who died in 1992 due to lung cancer. The piece, entitled The mark of the champion, is a tribute to that curious and brilliant boy, with whom Carletti shared 30 years of his life, on and off the stage. The album consists of 11 tracks. In addition to the title track and the aforementioned Phrases in Fire and The Sign of the Champion, the tracklist is composed of: Everything you will experience, Trust me, Hug me once more, You were there too, Heavenly Breath, On the side of the heart, Voices to sing e Only human beings (single version).

Like the Nomadi's previous recordings, Solo beings humans also promises to be a success. The Emilian band now hopes to be able to play the new songs live around the country soon. In recent months, many events have been canceled, including the traditional one Nomadagainst, which takes place every year in February a Novellara (RE) on the occasion of Augusto Daolio's birthday. To date it is not yet clear when it will be possible to return to attend the concerts (perhaps as early as the end of 2021 or 2022). In any case, it is likely that the band, one of the longest-lived in Italy, has already planned a big event for its fans in 2023, to celebrate together the 60 career of the Nomads.
