CAREER
The concert on September 30th will therefore be an opportunity to celebrate the career of one of the most famous songwriters in the history of our music. A career that began in the high school benches, until his debut in Sanremo in 1990 with the song "Desperate".
The Ariston stage gives the right impetus to Masini's career, which takes off with the consequent debut album, “Masini”, which obtains great success in terms of sales and critics. The following year, the Tuscan singer returned to Sanremo, finishing in third place with "Why do you do it", and released his second album, "Malinconoia", which was the best-selling of 1991.
From that moment on, Masini's career proceeded rapidly, between the first tours, the international success and the recording of another album destined to make history as “T'innamorerai”. With the arrival of the great success, however, also the controversies and complaints arrive, which lead the singer-songwriter to the incredible decision to retire in 2001.
Masini remains out of the music scene, however, only for two years: in 2003 he returns and in 2004 he wins the Festival of Sanremo with "The Flying Man". A triumph that sealed the myth of Masini, who from that moment on has continued to give his fans music and tours, up to this great event that will celebrate 30 years of a great career.
