Luciano Pavarotti finally has its own star on Walk of Fame in Hollywood. At the ceremony, which took place last August 24th and live streamed, the daughter was present Cristina (accompanied by her daughter Caterina) and the conductor of the orchestra of Los Angeles, James Conlon. The prestigious recognition came 15 years after the death of the beloved Italian tenor, never forgotten by their fans around the world. "When I hear my father remembered - he has declared Cristina Pavarotti during the ceremony - and I think about the things he has achieved and the roads he has opened, I still feel a sense of vertigo. It is a great honor to represent him on this occasion and I don't know how much I wish he was here, but this is not given to the stars either. I still remember when in the dressing room, happy, but tired and hungry and still wearing the stage costume, he stayed to sign autographs for hours, so as not to upset any fans.».

Luciano Pavarotti's star on the Walk of Fame, the number 2730, was placed at 7065 Hollywood Boulevard. This is located not far from those assigned to Stan Lee, Stevie Wonder and his compatriots Ennio Morricone e Lina Wertmuller.
