“I love Norcia” is not just a brand, it is the will of the inhabitants affected by the earthquake to react to difficulties

In Norcia, a consortium made up of Umbrian farmers, breeders and traders decided to focus on gastronomy to relaunch the area hit by the earthquake. The idea is great. Focus on excellence to save the culture, traditions, economy and vitality of those countries so heavily affected. With the “I love Norcia” brand, the consortium aims to bring the finest Umbrian products to the world. The best way to roll up your sleeves and start rebuilding.

The Umbria that does not want to give up

Italy is dotted with a myriad of villages and villages that have been abandoned over the years. The reasons that led to this abandonment are linked to natural disasters or more often to a series of unfavorable economic conditions. It is not obvious that a razed country will be rebuilt and that the economy linked to it will resume on its own. AND therefore for the desire to regain possession of the territory that these wonderful people have decided to fight.

The excellences and the culture that must not and cannot disappear

Truffles, Castelluccio lentils, PGI white veal, Sibillini pecorino, Colfiorito red potato, Fabriano salami. These are some of the gastronomic excellences at risk that "I love Norcia" wants to safeguard. Aid from all over Italy and the world is on its way. But now the priority is to support all those people who cannot move from the affected areas.

We need caravans and campers immediately

To avoid further disaster, some people have decided to stay in the earthquake areas, at the cost of suffering the cold inside a tent. Farmers have to finish the harvest, ranchers have to keep looking after their livestock. If this were not the case, the economic repercussions in Umbria would aggravate an already serious situation even more.

The incredible strength of these people

In an age where we are used to heroic models often distorted by Hollywood culture, one cannot help but admire these people. Here, as in other difficult situations that our country has faced, the real heroes are seen. People destroyed by the loss of friends and family, covered in mud and without a home, find the strength to turn the page to rebuild what no longer exists. Really, Norcia I love you.
