Suddenly they heard the cries of children and then they saw, looking out of a window, an old woman urging them to go away. In fear, the boys went out and three of them died hit by a car. After this, the authorities bricked up all the windows. But a few days later, the one from which the witch appeared was open again. Mystery! Villa Clara it is located, instead, in Trebbo di Reno, in the province of Bologna. It is a sixteenth-century residence and takes its name from the little soul who died there at the beginning of the twentieth century. Among the 13 haunted mansions are Villa Cerri and Villa Caboto
The first, also called Villa of the cursed lovers is in the province of Pavia, in Lomello. The name leaves no doubt: in this house a man shot his wife and lover to death, and then took his own life. The three ghosts still seem to haunt the house, leading anyone who lives there to suicide or insanity. There are other versions related to this villa, but this is undoubtedly the most intriguing. The last of the haunted villas is Villa Cabot. It is located in Sicily, in Mondello. Various legends have also arisen around it. One has it that it was a dating house. On 21 June 1375 he started playing with a ball. The guards watching her heard a scream and approached but they could no longer find either the girl or the ball. A House of the Violin, logically, a violinist lived in Scogna Sottana in the province of La Spezia. After his death, which occurred due to a serious illness, his violin, closed in its case, continues to play, with anguished screams in the background. There House of Souls hides a bizarre story. It was an inn run by a family of thieves. In fact, he robbed the most affluent guests, without making any scruple of suffocating or stabbing anyone who noticed. She was then arrested. But those who stayed there later are sure to have seen strange things: doors opening and closing by themselves, dishes moving, hearing screams.
Ca 'Dario and Palazzo Carmagnola
Ca ', or Palazzo Dario it is a splendid Venetian-style building, but struck by a terrible curse. He wants all the owners of the building to die killed, by suicide or by very bizarre accidental causes. Carmagnola Palace, now the headquarters of Consob and the Piccolo Teatro of Milan, is a splendid XNUMXth century building. And it is inhabited by illustrious ghosts: the Count of Carmagnola and Cecilia Gallerani. Right there Lady with an Ermine by Leonardo himself, so to speak!
The last of the 13 haunted mansions is the Cursed Monastery of the Devil's Monks
It is located in Sicignano degli Alburni in the province of Salerno. One day a poor traveler asked for alms from the priests of this monastery, who welcomed him gladly. To repay the favor, the young man remained in their servants until they took the vows. It happened, however, that he fell in love with a beautiful peasant woman. Discovered, the two lovers were separated: he imprisoned and she, accused of witchcraft, tortured to death. The day of his release arrived and strange events began to happen. One among many, a couple asked for hospitality at the monastery, but after a while the woman disappeared and the man returned to the carriage with his head split. The ghost of the man in the carriage, in search of his wife, has been sighted several times. The monk was killed and hanged from a tree and, perhaps, his specter still roams those places in search of victims.
