The Ministry of University and Research has just made official, with the publication of the long-awaited Ministerial Decree, the start of the X cycle of the TFA Support for the academic year 2024/2025.
The provision regulates the organization of university training courses for specialization in educational support for students with disabilities, intended for all school levels and grades.
The dates of the tests
There are 35.784 places available. The decree clearly establishes the calendar of the pre-selection tests, which will take place in July 2025, divided into four consecutive days:
- July 15, 2025: Kindergarten
- July 16, 2025: Primary School
- July 17, 2025: Lower secondary school
- July 18, 2025: Secondary school
The competition: pre-selection test, written and oral
Candidates will have to face a selection process which, as required by current legislation, will consist of a test pre-selection, followed by a written test and an oral test.
The places available for each university are shown in Table A attached to the ministerial decree, and the individual universities, through specific announcements, will define in detail the organizational and teaching methods of the courses. The decree also provides that the courses must be concluded by June 30, 2026, in compliance with the regulatory provisions on support training.
