Little to say: football never stops. This week there are already many thoughts for the clubs that must save themselves and must register for the next championship.
Serie C: Registration criteria changed
As is known, the most significant change concerns the amount of the guarantee, which undergoes a drastic increase: it goes from the current 350.000 euros to a whopping 700.000 euros, a doubling that aims to guarantee greater economic solidity to the participating clubs.
Who can be readmitted to Serie C in the event of failed registrations?
Gravina himself, president of the FIGC, clarified: " if there were a gap in the organic composition of four teams, the first team to be reintroduced would be a second team, the second would be from Serie D, the third would be a team reintroduced from Serie C, the fourth would again be a second team".
The ranking should therefore be this:
- 1) Inter U.23 (the Nerazzurri Club has already expressed its desire to register the Second Team in the Lega Pro)
- 2) Ravenna (best ranking among the winners of the Serie D playoffs)
- 3) For Patria (best among those relegated from Serie C)
- 4) Milan Futuro
- 5) Reggina
Serie C Registrations: All the News
- SPAL, the application for registration has started: now we await the opinion of Covisoc. It is hoped that the Ferrara team can be saved in extremis. The Ferrara company has presented the documentation, the word is up to CoViSoc. The documentation will be examined by CoViSoc (Supervisory Commission on Professional Football Clubs) which will decide whether to consider SPAL's application valid.
- Triestina saves! “US Triestina Calcio 1918 announces that today it has filed all the necessary documentation in order to obtain registration for the 2025/26 Serie C championship, together with all the regulatory and financial obligations required by the National Licensing system.
- Foggia entered the championship.
- Il Brescia it went bankrupt: the club will most likely not register in either Serie B or Serie C (regardless of the sentence)

And tomorrow Ascoli will communicate the submission of all the documentation. These are the signals coming from the black and white club. - June 1: In Cosenza, it's a race against time for registration in C: the municipal authorization for the stadium is still missing.
- 31st May: Ascoli remains with Pulcinelli: negotiations for the transfer fell through. It is a pity that Pulcinelli announced that he will register the team but then it will be left in the hands of the Mayor who will be responsible for finding buyers. Here are Pulcinelli's words to Vera TV. "We hope that the mayor will be able to gather local entrepreneurs around him, no longer as sponsors, but as those who divide the tasks and manage the club".
- Casertana, another club at risk of registration: there are problems in the company. Il Mattino takes stock of the situation on Casertana, which is one of the clubs in the balance of registration: “Casertana is at great risk: the rift between president Giuseppe D'Agostino and entrepreneur Antonio Ciuffarella has ruined the sale of the majority shares of Caserta Stadium by Aurora Immobiliare to the Conpat consortium, and with it the entire reconstruction project of the “Pinto” and the club's registration for the next Serie C championship.”
- Brescia penalized by 4 points and relegated to Serie C. Play out between Salernitana and Samp.
- ‼️Today - Thursday 29 May - the hearing will be held at the National Federal Court that will decide the future of some clubs. The referral concerns five companies, including Brescia, Trapani, Foggia, Triestina and Messina. While waiting for an official statement, what is certain is that these clubs will have to serve a penalty next season.
- ???????? Ascoli, the negotiations with Pecci for the sale of the club's shares fall through.
- 🔴⚫️Foggia, registration documentation submitted, but the financial part is missing and Canonico does not seem to be willing. The sole director Bitetto speaks: “We are evaluating with the property. Let's not forget that Canonico released a statement of disinterest last March 31, for all the offenses to his person and family. This has destabilized him from a moral point of view"
