The second round of the Serie C playoffs is in full swing. After tonight's games, we will think about the second national round. The first leg will be played on Sunday, May 18 in the evening, while the return leg is scheduled for Wednesday, May 21.
The challenges will feature the teams that passed the first round and the second-placed teams in their respective groups at the end of the regular season.
The draw tomorrow
To define the four first-leg and second-leg matches of the second play-off round, Serie C will hold a draw on Thursday 15 May 2025. Scheduled for 11:30, the Serie C draw is available live on TV and streaming on Sky and NOW channels, specifically on number 200 Sky Sport 24.
Serie C Play Off: The Combinations
These are the combinations expected for the double confrontation of the second round:
- Ternana will face one of Pescara, Atalanta Under 23, Crotone, Vis Pesaro or Giana Erminio
- Audace Cerignola will face one of the same possible opponents: Pescara, Atalanta U23, Crotone, Vis Pesaro or Giana Erminio
- Vicenza will play against one of Pescara, Atalanta, Crotone, Vis Pesaro or Giana Erminio
- The final match will pit the best-ranked team among the qualifiers (seeded) against the remaining team.
The rules state that the team with the best ranking will play the return leg at home and will access the next round even if the two matches are tied overall. The second round does not include extra time or penalties, so if the first and second legs are tied, the top seed will qualify for the final four.
