It all happened during a match in the Italian Serie B championship.

At the center of the story is Mamadou Tounkara, who was suspended for 10 months by the National Federal Court. The sanction was triggered because the player allegedly tried to persuade Jacopo Martini, registered with Südtirol, to voluntarily receive a warning during the match against Catanzaro, with the aim of obtaining profits through clandestine betting.
