The Brescia case

The club has filed a complaint with the Public Prosecutor's Office against a company based in Via Montenapoleone, Milan. At the center of the case is an alleged fraud related to the purchase of tax credits that, according to the club, turned out to be non-existent.

The Lombard club claims to have purchased tax credits from the Milanese club with a 20% discount, using them to cover social security contributions for the months of November, December, January and February. The operation, worth a total of over 1,4 million euros, has however encountered a crucial obstacle: according to the Revenue Agency, those credits do not exist. Massimo Cellino, president of Brescia, says he is convinced he was the victim of a scam. Together with his legal team, he has started the process to also appeal to the Federal Prosecutor's Office, with the aim of avoiding possible penalties for the club in the sports field. Meanwhile, in Brescia, concern is growing about the possible repercussions, even at a sporting level.
