A great demonstration at Napoli, yesterday, Friday 20 October 2023, to ask the World the medium-high pace at this time when the global socio-political scenario is starting to be truly worrying.
Thousands took to the streets in the Campania capital to say a stop to the bombs on Gaza. 5000 people crossed the city heading towards the Prefecture to deliver a letter to the Prefect, Claudio Palomba.
There were four demands from the protesters:
- un immediate ceasefire
- the stop to any arms supplies to Israel by Italy
- the immediate provision of humanitarian aid to Gaza
- Recognition of the rights of self-determination of the Palestinian people.
Interviewed by the fan page, a protester explained "we want the Palestinian people to be allowed to self-determine, to go to school. For 75 years Palestine has resisted and suffered."
