Starting Thursday, August 7, the African anticyclone will return to the forefront, bringing with it typical Italian summer conditions: clear skies, muggy weather, stable weather, and a sharp rise in temperatures.
Highs will return to above 38-40°C, especially in central and southern regions and in large cities like Milan, Rome, and Naples, where the hot asphalt and poor ventilation will make the heat even more severe. Therefore, from the 7th the heat will return, until reaching its maximum peak expected between Saturday 9th August and Monday 11th August, when the maximum heat of the anticyclone is expected over Italy.
