Discomfort in the province of Brindisi

In the Brindisi area, there were problems with power lines, accidents and fallen trees. The strong wind forced the firefighters to intervene in various municipalities of the province, while the police detected at least four accidents in a few hours.

The firefighters of the Brindisi command and the Francavilla Fontana and Ostuni detachments were engaged in several interventions. In the afternoon in San Pietro Vernotico, a tree fell and occupied the carriageway of an important road for the city traffic.

Traffic problems also in Lecce

Even in Lecce the weather situation is quite delicate. A short while ago the Lecce Local Police through its social channels urged caution and explained that a road is closed due to a fallen tree (probably due to the bad weather).
