La Team Building, an undisputed symbol of Italian culinary tradition, continues to conquer palates all over the world. Recently, the portal 'Time-out' has drawn up a ranking of the best pizzerias at an international level, confirming Italian supremacy in this sector.
Italy at the top of the rankings
In first place is the “Pizzeria da Attilio” from Naples, located in the lively Pignasecca district. Founded in 1938, this pizzeria is renowned for its traditional pizza, prepared with high-quality local ingredients, following a recipe passed down from generation to generation. In fourth place stands out another Italian, the “180g Pizzeria Romana” from Rome, located in via di Tor de Schiavi.
Other pizzerias in the top 10
The ranking continues with “Scarr's Pizza” from New York in second place and “Pizza Marumo” from Tokyo in third, highlighting how the passion for pizza has reached every corner of the globe. In fifth place we find “Bella Brutta” from Sydney, followed by “Diamond Slice” in Copenhagen, “Dough Hands” in London, “Novo” in Cape Town, “Oobatz” in Paris and “Baldoria” in Madrid, which closes the top ten.
This ranking highlights how pizza, while maintaining its Italian roots, has been reinterpreted in different cultural contexts, adapting to local tastes without losing its essence. The presence of excellent pizzerias in cities such as Tokyo, Madrid and Sydney demonstrates the universality of this dish and its ability to unite people of different cultures around a table. Very good the northern Europe with excellent pizzerias in Copenhagen, Paris, Edinburgh and Amsterdam. In South America, however, awards in both Brazil and Argentina.
So, while pizza has found a home in many parts of the world, Italy remains the beating heart of this culinary tradition, continuing to produce excellence that wins international recognition.
