As for the book “Snapshots (photograms of the soul)” it is published by EFG PublisherIt contains inside 190 lyricsThese make up the spiritual as well as intellectual archive of Masietta Palmisano. They are in fact shots taken with a short exposure time. They can be considered glances that have taken shape through a symbiotic relationship with light, powerful or dim, blinding or rarefied. They are therefore gazes that continue to persist in the darkness, remaining on the lookout to seek the heart of things, places, and people.

Lo scorrere del tempo

In Masietta Palmisano's book, subject and setting become details of this laborious attempt to grasp herself. Whether they are wonder, enameling joy, or grating pain, well, in every one of her "poetic shot"the author knows she is recovering a fragment of herself that a moment later is already past, is something other than itself. It will belong to her but in a different way, in the guise of "time emptied".

The flow of his "glances" seems to suggest to us the image of our being flocks of frames. These are lost frames, frames rediscovered at every stop in the deep well of sad souls, where they float, waiting, like dandelion flowers or emerge, like ghosts, at the din of the wind. preface of the book was written by Lorella Bozzato, while the afterword was written by Lorenzo Cirasino.
