The study conducted by the Institute for Quality of Life and the Happy City Hub in London has created a ranking of the 200 happiest cities in the world. For this study, 5 criteria are taken into consideration:
- services;
- technology;
- governance;
- social policies;
- mobility sectors.
These 5 aspects are considered fundamental for the quality of life of the population and the general ranking is created from a ranking of these criteria.
Happiest cities in the world: there are three Italian ones
The study places Milan in 102nd place, Bologna at the 116 ° place e Roma in 128th place among the 200 happiest cities in the world. Therefore, in addition to the two cities in Northern Italy, the Capital is among the happiest cities in Italy in 2023, according to the Happy Cities Index which every year measures the well-being of citizens.
