It is a year of extraordinary victories for Italy, which began with Måneskin's at Eurovision. The Eurovision Song Contest is a singing competition broadcast in a world of vision. This Festival becomes more and more important every year, the ratings and the media coverage of the Eurovision successes speak for themselves.
Italy boasts three victories. The song I'm not old (To love you) by Gigliola Cinquetti in 1964, the song Together by Toto Cutugno from 1990 and, after 31 years, this year's victory with Zitti e buona from the Roman group Måneskin. The Roman rock group surpassed all other artists including the French Barbara pravi with her "Here”, The Maltese Destiny with "Je Me Casse"Or the Swiss Gjon's Tears with "The whole universe". The triumph of the Moonlight with the song “Zitti e buona” decreed that the 2022 edition will take place in Italy.

Euro Vision Song Contest
Despite being a show in the true sense of the word and therefore full of lights, special effects, stage costumes and more, the Eurovision Song Contest has a strict regulation. In fact, the winning song of Måneskin has been slightly modified, in the sense that the bad words that are not allowed by the regulation have been removed. But let's see the other rules. In the early years of Eurovision the vote was up to a selected jury, then the televoting was introduced instead, whereby the winner is decreed both with the televoting system and with that of the jury. Participating artists cannot be under the age of sixteen. The songs must not exceed the duration of 3 minutes, must not be a cover or a song inspired by another unreleased and above all, must not contain political messages or inappropriate language.
