The Film Week Marathon
What's the highlight of a wonderful event like the Enchanted City Film Festival? Film Week in Nocera! These seven days dedicated to cinema began with a film marathon on May 19th at the Diana Theater. Spectacular and irreverent films were screened, such as Christopher Nolan's Memento, Todd Philipps's The Hangover, and Rupert Sanders' Ghost in the Shell. Naturally, the organizers were compassionate towards the filmgoers who attended. Breakfast was offered to the first 100 registrants, and a cash prize was awarded to those brave enough to remain awake after the screening. But after an exciting marathon and a sleepless night, the surprises at Film Week aren't over yet.

The Film Week program
Film Week offers surprises and excitement for all tastes. On May 21st, starting at 7:30 PM, the short film "Impossible Encounters: Totò and Fellini" will be screened. The event will also be attended by the niece of the Prince of Naples, Alessandra De Curtis. The following day, the School Cinema Awards will take place: the Oscars for schools. Ten short films produced within the school environment will compete in a healthy competition. The event, in fact, is aimed primarily at young people and their passion for the seventh art. On Wednesday, May 23rd, the Sala Roma cinema will host the "Sguardi incantati" event, and the following day, the library will be open to watch the short films starting at 6:30 PM. Finally, an exciting treat for the final day: the Festival's artistic director, Antonio Maiorino, will interview Paolo Gaudio, winner of the 2018 Nastro d'Argento for Best Animated Short.
Spirited Away Film Festival
The Nocera event is not only a hymn of joy, but also a poetic declaration of love for cinema. Among the films presented, three thematic cycles were identified, such as human rights and legality, which were thoroughly studied from February to May. Several schools were involved in over 30 mornings at the cinema, attracting over 10,000 attendees. The film festival is a helping hand for young people, helping them realize their passion for the big white screen. Which, after all, just needs to be ignited.
