He stopped in Venice Paralympic Flame of Milan Cortina 2026Yesterday the torchbearers marched all the way to San Marco, passing along the Zattere, crossing the canal aboard a historic Bucintoro vessel to the Arsenale, and making the final stretch along the Riva degli Schiavoni. The Big Vocal Orchestra and athletes from local sports clubs were waiting for the torchbearers in St. Mark's Square.A festive, musical welcome greeted the Flame and welcomed the last torchbearer, Matilde Villa, point guard for Reyer Venezia, for the lighting of the brazier.

La Departure of the Paralympic Flame with 22 torchbearers It began at the San Basilio waterfront in front of the Port Authority headquarters. For the occasion, the area was painted in the Paralympic colors—red, blue, and green—to unite sport, inclusion, and community. The torch then passed from hand to hand through the port areas of San Basilio, along the Giudecca Canal, and across Ponte Molin to continue its journey to the Zattere, accompanied by cheers and applause from those present. The relay reached Punta della Dogana, where a historic Bucintoro vessel ferried the torchbearer and his flame to the Arsenale. From there, it was on to Piazza San Marco.
