Jannik Sinner confirmed his dominance at the Inalpi Arena, finishing the ATP final in two and a quarter hours: "Ending the season like this is extraordinary. Carlos, you truly deserve to be number one."
Sinner beats Alcaraz
The South Tyrolean tennis player overcame Carlos Alcaraz to once again become the ATP Finals champion. First he asked for the crowd's support, then he took it all: the Turin arena erupted in a roar for their favorite. For the second year in a row, Sinner lifted the Masters trophy, defeating his eternal rival, the Spanish player, in two hard-fought sets (7-6, 7-5), after saving a set point in the first set.
With this victory, he regains his lead in the generational battle that will define the next decade. In 2025, the Italy-Spain record is 4-2, but he is the dominant one that year: Jannik wins two Grand Slams – like Alcaraz – and adds the most prestigious end-of-season title, also taking home, undefeated, the huge prize of $5 million.
