The recent City Vision report on smart living, created by Blum in collaboration with Prokalos, has identified the most virtuous Italian territories in terms of quality of life, highlighting a strong predominance of Northern Italy, with Lombardy in the lead for the number of virtuous municipalities.
Surprisingly, among the awarded cities, the small villages stand out, with an average population of around 2.600 inhabitants.
The 10 villages where it's best to live: but there's also a city
Small villages are the “smartest”. Credera Rubbiano (Cremona) and Cordovado (Pordenone) stand out, which, thanks to innovative and sustainable management, have become models of smart living. Casaletto Vaprio (Cremona) and San Secondo Parmense (Parma) also top the list of the most liveable cities in Italy. The most notable exception is Imola, which, with approximately 69 thousand residents, demonstrates how even the largest cities can excel in managing services and promoting a balanced lifestyle.
