Ready, go and… two disappointments. Mister Filippo Inzaghi's experience at Pisa got off to a decidedly bad start. The former Salernitana coach was convinced of the possibility of convincing some players to accept the Pisa project, but things did not go as he hoped. Follow our live transfer market
First Nicolas Viola, now Massimo Coda. Two names, two friends present at super Pippo's wedding, two approaches, two negotiations, two different roles. Two strong hopes of taking them to Pisa, in both cases were disappointed. Two low blows arrived a few hours apart. First Viola who renews with Cagliari (yet to be made official), then Coda who accepts Sampdoria.
Now Inzaghi will have to find names worthy of a project that wants to be big but which has already had two significant stoppages in the take-off phase.
