What do all people dream of doing? What everyone dreams of is being able to devote themselves to their passions and maybe make a job out of them. And then when you do something you love, the result can only be wonderful. Just like Valentina, a thousand interests that become a job and that produce surprising results. But to invent a job you need not only passion, but also technique and a good dose of self-confidence. For those who feel inadequate or insecure, the advice is to read Valentina's blog, ioconme.com. A sort of "advice for use" of one's life.

Dancer, video maker, graphic designer, blogger. Valentina, among all the activities you follow and which often interpenetrate, which do you feel closest to your way of being?

I don't think there is one in particular. But I can say that dance and video are two passions that I do and I would do even without economic purposes. I am very lucky to be able to integrate them into business-related projects as well. But my relationship with these two activities is passionate and very empathetic. What I perhaps feel a little less in "my strings" is graphics, because it is a sector that I studied in correlation with web design, blogging and video activities, focusing more on the creative aspect and its potential but not how primary interest.

In videos where you dance your hands always play an important, if not central, role. Because?

I realize that this is indeed the case. In fact, I've never really thought about it, it comes naturally to me. The arms and hands are the parts of my body that I move more easily and with more pleasure. I love the lines that form, where they come from and where they end. I don't have wonderful hands, they are gnarled and thin but, in my opinion and taste, they have expressiveness. And then, when I work with these parts of me, I don't have to think about it, it just happens.

You have recently opened a new blog, ioconme.com. What is it about?

When I started the blog project, the first thing I asked myself was: what can I give to others? What could I help you with? As I'm pretty fussy, it had to be something I really felt prepared for, especially since I wanted to be able to be helpful. But it also had to be something that was part of me, interested me and liked me. So based on my story, I saw that what I've been good at has to do with helping me get better. As with many people, life has not always been easy for me, but I was lucky enough to find resources that I thought I didn't have and to learn how to use them to get better. From these considerations and from technical knowledge, I was born with me. It is a blog aimed more at the female world that wants to provide tips and suggestions to help themselves feel good. Nothing spiritual or new age, simply a series of approaches to certain situations related to ourselves in everyday life, observed with common sense, optimism and always trying to take advantage of them. Tips and tools to use independently.
