From June 30th to July 9th, the Südtirol Jazz Festival South Tyrol which will be divided into 55 concerts. The artistic direction of the event is entrusted to Stefan Festini Cucco, Max von Pretz and Roberto Tubaro. Venue chosen for the festival is, again this year, the Capuchin Park of Bolzano together with many other characteristic localities of the South Tyrolean area.

Groups and soloists from the young and experimental European scene were invited, exponents of pop, rock, punk, hip-hop, noise or folk music; of XNUMXth-century modernism and contemporary compositional styles. The Südtirol Jazz Festival South Tyrol confirms itself as an event that prefers adventure. This is demonstrated by a flying island in this year's logo: driven by music, this island in the clouds allows you to discover new sounds and tones, immersing yourself in a surreal landscape. The festival will touch the main European cities which are also centers of jazz that knows no borders thanks to the presence of international artists.
In fact, the 2023 edition of the South Tyrolean Jazz Festival further expands a dense network European which has expanded in recent years. Without forgetting that jazz also wakes up at night; the concerts nocturnal at Batzen Sudwerk in Bolzanor as a 'strange' conclusion to the daily programme, they will push the boundaries of contemporary jazz into the unknown. The festival will animate medieval castles, farmhouses, refuges, squares and theatres in Bolzano, Bressanone, Vipiteno, Brunico, Merano, San Vigilio di Marebbe and the Renon train. The rich program includes the participation of over 70 artists of national and international fame.
