Flover Bussolengo doesn't miss a beat, and Flover Farm's new fall offering has also proven a success. Flover's autumn is decked out in orange with the creation of a wheelbarrow-shaped maze filled with pumpkins to pick and, if you like, even enjoy.
Pumpkin fields mania
Even Bussolengo could not resist the American tradition of the “Pumpkin Patch” and the first “Flover Farm” has arrived at the Flover Garden.
Flover Farm
It's the only village in Italy built directly into the landscape with natural materials, a true work of land art. The 420-meter-wide wheelbarrow was designed using 1500 rectangular bales of corn waste.
Next to the labyrinth is the real attraction: the pumpkin patch, stretched out of pumpkins from traditional to more unusual shapes. It was held every weekend, from October 1st to October 31st. A unique feature of this initiative was the opportunity to choose your favorite pumpkin.
A refreshment stand has also been set up for visitors to enjoy autumn cuisine featuring risotto, fried pumpkin, courgette flowers, and pumpkin tortelli, as well as roasted chestnuts and cotton candy.
Free pumpkin decorating workshops were organized for the little ones.
