The Maritime Museum, adjacent to the Fish Market, showcases the maritime past of the city of San Benedetto del Tronto, as well as that of the Marche region. A dive into culture and history. The Maritime Museum: the three exhibition sections

The Museum of Amphorae
The Museum of Amphorae, established in 1986 thanks to the donation of Dr. Giovanni Perotti, brings together amphorae of different typologies and chronologiesIn particular, Phoenician, Punic, Greek, Roman, and Byzantine amphorae. They were recovered from the nets of trawling vessels belonging to the San Benedetto navy.

The Fish Museum

It includes over 9.000 specimens divided into fish, crustaceans, molluscs, cetaceans, echinoderms, coelenterates and fossils. It also houses a room with aquariums and a small archaeological section. The Museum of Maritime Civilization of the Marche
The Museum of Maritime Civilization, inaugurated in February 2011, is organized into narrative units.
