Music as a tool for meditation, a meeting of cultures, a spiritual journey to celebrate peace. This magic is created by the notes of WuLe Symphony Orchestra, The world's largest Chan monk music troupe. Led by master Shi WuLe., in this month of October it touched five Italian cities: Milan, Bologna, Trento, Follo (La Spezia). Then two Venetian events, yesterday at the Teatro Malibran and a few days ago at the Great School of St. John the Evangelist.
Between music, dance, conversation, reflection and spirituality
The two evenings saw alternating moments of music, conversation, and reflection on stage. And also of great openness given that the musical program, in particular, wanted to synthesize Western and Eastern symphonic pieces. Proposing, among others, well-known melodies by Rossini, Shostakovich, Tchaikovsky, but also suites by Asian composers such as The girl with white hair. And then, still in the West with The Radetzky March by Johann Strauss père.

Maestro Shi WuLe greatly appreciated the audience's participation. The audience was carried away by the music of The Radetzky March, but who also applauded the other pieces of music openly.I was happy when I turned around and saw the audience so involved – he said at the end of the concert – I was equally happy watching the orchestra and conducting their music. Music is a moment of great meditation.". The WuLe Symphony Orchestra she performed at UNESCO and was also received by Pope Francis.

The evening hosted in the Scuola Grande di San Giovanni Evangelista was attended by Leymah Gbowee, Nobel Peace Prize in 2011On stage, alongside maestro Shi WuLe, he spoke of peace, in his homeland and in the world. At the Malibran, between music and dance, a vocal meditation practice concluded. Capable of transporting the audience to a dimension of profound inner harmony.
The company's Italian tour, which included the two Venice dates, was organized by the World Association for Peace and Inner Harmony (AMPAI) and the Italy-China Cultural Exchange Center (ICCX).
