Intense weekend for Identità Golose at MiCo (Milan Convention Center) in the Lombard capital. The gastronomic kermesse that turns eighteen, with its founder Paolo Marchi, announces many new features for this edition that begins today. Many well-known names of Italian and international cuisine will participate in the event. The talks and the various opportunities to meet with the national and international protagonists of the food world are eagerly awaited.
Between historic and post-modern Milan
As highlighted on the web platform "Identità Golose Milan is the international hub of gastronomy. A theater of chefs that hosts some of the most prestigious protagonists of signature cuisine every week, from Italy and the rest of the world. It is an eclectic and exclusive event space: you will find refined and functional rooms, suitable for presentations, conferences, courses and tastings. It was born with a vocation: to be a platform for discussion that develops entertainment, experimentation and research activities around quality cuisine. By promoting a new form of conviviality open to new languages and ways of consuming on an international scale. It is a candidate to be the place par excellence, suspended between the majesty of historic Milan and the dynamism of the contemporary one, where the evolution of great cuisine will be told every day".
Identity Gourmet
The leitmotif of this edition is the “sustainable revolution”first of all, but not only. This is because, both in Italy and in the rest of the world, catering is experiencing that generational and ethical transition whose tracks sometimes meet. And so it is the time of twenty-year-olds, like Davide Marzullo who, after important schools (including Cannavacciuolo at Villa Crespi), took the Michelin star in just one year of activity at Trattoria Contemporanea in Lomazzo (Como). At just twenty-six, he is one of the enfant prodigies of haute cuisine. With him Guido Paternollo (Park Hyatt), Andrea Aprea, Viviana Varese and many protagonists of fine dining in a Milanese key. But Identità Golose is also the parterre of the sacred gods of the kitchen, from Bottura to Bartolini, from Cracco to Locatelli, from Cedroni to Perbellini, to Cristiano Tomei.
To internationals such as Albert Adrià or Andoni Luis Aduriz, Leonor Espinosa, Angel Leon, Paco Morales, Fatmata Binta. There will also be well-known faces from food and non-food TV. From winemaker Bruno Vespa althechocolate entrepreneur Fabio Fazio. Passing, of course, through Dario Cecchini. And a great Alex Atala, the visionary of South American cuisine: for him it is almost a return home, given that he spent two years of his life in Milan. Sunday will be a day of intense meetings dedicated to "Golosi di Identità". There will be, among others, the Cotarella Foundation and important realities such as Campagna Amica, with Carmelo Troccoli to deepen the theme on "The identities of the territories: the dream comes from the earth".
