Gravina's comments on possible exclusions from Serie C
"There are objective financial difficulties," he said, as reported by the Tuttoc website. "The issue of sustainability is real and concrete. I believe the Federation can do a lot in this regard and needs the help of all its members. We must monitor these registrations, which are not consistent with the sustainability of the championship."
Gravina then continued: “Triestina and Rimini are perfectly in order for registration in Serie C, but evidently they don't have the economic strength to sustain the seasonWe must intervene, either by introducing greater rigor to the entry rules, or by resuming the process of reforming our championships and formats. The system clearly demonstrates the need for change, and starting in September, we will propose a change."
