“Fruit24! It's always the right time to eat fruit and vegetables!”. The traveling roadshow along the Italian motorway network to encourage the consumption of fruit and vegetables will start on July XNUMXst vegetables.

The three-year project is coordinated by the producers' organisation Apo Conerpor together with the project partner, the Greek cooperative Rachis Pierias 'O Agios Loukas'. The initiative, co-financed by the European Union, is also interesting Greece, Germany and Spain where the activities will be carried out by the Greek cooperative. The activity is organized with a personalized gazebo in the service areas to get in touch with consumers, above all Italian and foreign tourists. Everyone will be made aware of the consumption of fruit and vegetables "in original and innovative ways". This year the initiative also includes the presence of a chef who will prepare samples of seasonal fruit and vegetables.

From July to September, 40 days of tasting are scheduled in 6 service areas of the A14, in Emilia-Romagna, through which it is estimated to reach over 25 million consumers.
“After the winning experience of the first project fruit24, from 2016 to 2019, we are ready - says Davide Vernocchi, president of Apo Conerpo - to put in place another three-year process that will continue until 2026. We want to involve the consumer and improve the image of fresh fruit and vegetables in his eyes in all its facets. From freshness to wholesomeness, from naturalness to ease of use and we will do so by suggesting innovative, satisfying and healthy consumption opportunities throughout the day”.
