Fuorigrotta, a nerve center of Naples

The forty-fifth edition of the barter and second-hand fair, as mentioned, will take place at the Mostra D'Oltremare in the Neapolitan district of Fuorigrotta. The name of this district derives from the Latin foris cryptam (outside the cave) in reference to the fact that since Roman times it was connected by several caves to the district of Mergellina and has been a predominantly agricultural district. Subsequently, especially in the years of the economic boom, urban interventions were implemented that made it one of the most populated neighborhoods in the city. Not only.
