Discovering Reventino and the Briganti del Mancuso have organised an interesting and exciting excursion on Mount Mancuso for Sunday 9th JulyThe two associations, together for the first time, promote the experiential walk on the mountains of the Reventino – Tiriolo – Mancuso group among lush woods and spectacular views of the Gulf of Sant'Eufemia.

“Together,” explain the operators of the two associations, “we have prepared a 13 km circular route that retraces some of its most characteristic places. Among these are the Manca's Times, monumental outcrops of green stone and Raven Stone one of the most evocative panoramic views on the north-eastern slope of the mountain. Places that tell stories of fairies and bandits, hidden among the thick woods and monumental trees to be preserved and protected." During the excursion you will reach the Pietra di Corvo, a cliff overlooking the valley of the Vena di Savuto stream, "a mystical place – the organizers emphasize – from where it is possible to admire the entire Monte Mancuso massif and the Tyrrhenian Sea”. Program
The appointment is for Sunday 9 July 2023, at 8:30 am, in Monument Square Falerna village. Around 9am the group will move by car to the location Dogarelli Hill where the excursion will begin. Arrival is expected at 12:30 pm. Crow's Plan There will also be a lunch break. The excursion will conclude in the early afternoon. First-time participants are advised to contact the organizers. The guides will assess whether the participant's level of fitness and equipment are suitable for the trek.
What to bringHighly recommended: layered trekking clothing (no jeans, down jackets, etc.), trekking poles, and a change of clothes (to be left in the car). Also, a packed lunch; sunglasses; and sunscreen. The guides will check that you have the right equipment at the beginning of the excursion.
