On this Saturday a look at Esanatoglia, The most beautiful village in Italy in the province of Macerata, Marche.
The narrow valley of the Esino river winds between outcropping rocks and corners of an intense green, where the sun rarely manages to disturb the coolness of the moss and red seaweed.
In the village that meets here, families still cook at home with the products of the garden.
The walls and natural defenses have created a self-sufficient community, capable of living in the rural tranquility but also of having fun with music and theater and of reviving ancient crafts (such as that of the potter) testified by archaeological finds.
Because tradition, in Esanatoglia, still makes sense, it is not an empty word ...
