A new earthquake was recorded this morning in Emilia-Romagna, causing concern among residents. According to the INGV (National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology), the earthquake had a magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter scale and was located 6 km north of Morfasso, in the province of Piacenza. The seismic event occurred at 08:29, at a depth of 25 kilometers.
Earthquake felt in various areas
The shock was clearly felt in many municipalities in the Emilia area. Today's event follows yesterday's, when another shock - even stronger, with a magnitude of 3.8 - was clearly felt by the population, fueling the alert in an area historically affected by moderate seismic activity. At the moment, fortunately, no damage to people or things has been reported. Local authorities continue to monitor the situation in collaboration with the Civil Protection and the INGV.
