An Appeal from the Artistic Director: Rediscover the Treasure of the BC Ferrini Theatre during the FAI visit on Saturday, November 15th.
As Artistic Director, I welcome with enthusiasm and deep satisfaction the initiative of FAI - Fund for the Italian Environment to dedicate a visit to discover the history of our beloved BC Ferrini Theater in Adria.
A Monument of City History and Culture
The Ferrini is not just a building, but a precious testimony of our history and a focal point of the theatrical and musical culture of AdriaIts elegant late-Liberty structure, commissioned way back in 1913 by Monsignor Anselmo Rizzi to offer the young people of Adria a place of education and growth, has gone through phases of splendor, decline (especially after the flood of 1951) and, fortunately, a rebirth thanks to the tenacious commitment of the community and figures such as Monsignor Lino Dalla Villa.

The Importance of Civic Participation
This FAI event, organised by the Rovigo Delegation, represents an opportunity unique and unmissable for the people of Adria:
• Rediscovery: Many fellow citizens, especially the new generations, do not fully know the rich and complex history of this place. The guided tour is the perfect opportunity to fill this gap.
• Enhancement: Participating means improve concretely this monument, demonstrating the affection and importance that it has in the social and cultural fabric of the city.
• Living Experience: The visit, enriched by the possibility of attending the rehearsals of “Il Canto del Cuore”, will also allow you to appreciate its exceptional acoustics, reminding everyone that the Theatre is a living organism that pulsates with art and entertainment.
The Desired Accession of the Adriesi
I sincerely hope that many Adriesi seize this opportunity. It's a chance to feel custodians and active part of its heritage. And this is why I invite everyone, especially those who have never crossed the threshold of Ferrini or who only know of its recent activity, to book the visit and to deepen the knowledge of this late Art Nouveau jewel, thus contributing to strengthening the cultural identity of our city.

Let's not miss the opportunity to reclaim our history!
I would be happy to provide more details on the architecture of the BC Ferrini Theatre or on the artistic programming of the current season.
