An appointment for young and old, which revives the magic of unforgettable fairy tales. There Disney show scheduled in Milan (until February 13, inside the MUDEC) tells the public about the creative process behind the Disney classics. What to expect from “DISNEY. The art of telling timeless stories "
"DISNEY. The art of telling timeless stories”Tells how the Disney films were born. From "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" to "Pinocchio" and "Fantasia", Walt Disney has signed some of the most incredible cinematic masterpieces of the XNUMXth century. And then the feature films of Walt Disney Animation Studios, from "Hercules" to "The Little Mermaid", up to the most recent works such as "Luca”That a new generation of filmmakers created inspired by what Walt Disney did for the cinema. On display, original works from the Disney archives and suggestive paths that explain where - the fairy tales we know today - have their roots. After all, telling stories is a true art. It can be seen in the sketches exhibited, in the study of historical and legendary characters. In that skilful work of fusion between what is true and what is fantasy. Because, behind every cartoon, there is a story. And this Disney exhibit proves it.
What do you like so much about the Disney classics? Their ability to take an ancient fable, and to make it current by giving the public its universal teaching. Just think of the human characterization of icons such as Mickey mouse and Donald Duck, but also to what "Robin Hood" and "The Sword in the Stone", "The Three Little Pigs" and "The Little Mermaid" have to tell. The MUDEC exhibition tells a little about the behind the scenes of those stories, but also tells how the technique has evolved: from hand drawings to digital technologies, today making an animated film is decidedly different. But no less magical for this. Thus, the visitor can explore the entire path: from the concept of the story to the creation of characters and settings, up to animation and coloring.
