The first favorable data today concerns the daily infected, a number still high but growth is decreasing: 4.668 infected today, 114 less than yesterday. The number of swabs performed is the highest recorded so far. 39.809 swabs carried out, 5.354 more than yesterday, therefore, a further reassuring figure.
The speranza
There is an excellent figure for the healed, with 1.431 healings. Added to the data on infections, it translates into a decrease in the currently positive daily, which go from 2937 to 2477, or 460 less than on 1 April. Today, there is also a slowdown in the daily percentage change, that is, how the growth in percentage terms of total cases varies day by day. It goes from + 4.5% to + 4.2%.
Let's continue like this
These figures would be extremely different if the quarantine mandatory for the vast majority of people. Staying at home is essential to slow the spread of the virus. So, we must continue like this, we stay at home and do everything possible to help who, instead, is working for save lives.

In case it is not clear, to shout it to us every day is the count of those who did not make it. A still very high number, with 760 deaths today. A frightening but anticipated figure, given the infected people in the previous days. The number should decrease in the coming weeks, based on the slowdown in infections.
