Brothers of Man: A Bridge of Solidarity Between the North and the South of the World
Founded in 1969, Fratelli dell'Uomo is an Italian non-governmental organization that operates in Latin America and Africa. The association, through local partnerships, deals with the right to food, supports projects that promote the defense of the environment and common goods, the solidarity economy and the right to health. The association is dedicated to raise public awareness on global interconnections and promote a culture of solidarity and cooperation.
ACRA: Sustainable Development Promoted by Italians in South America
ACRA is a secular and independent NGO founded 50 years ago. It deals with international development cooperation and global citizenship education.
In 1968, 6 young Italian volunteers founded ACRA and today the association works for improve the living conditions of the populations of the South of the world, with particular attention to rural areas.
In Latin america is active in countries such as Bolivia, Ecuador, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Honduras, promoting projects in the fields of education, economics, environment and health. ACRA adopts an approach based on participatory democracy, valorizing local cultures and promoting equitable partnerships between the North and the South of the world.

Friends of Brazil Onlus: Education as a tool for redemption
Born in 1994 from the initiative of the Italian Don Arnaldo Peternazzi, “Amici del Brasile Onlus” is dedicated to International cooperation in the field of education in Brazil and the Democratic Republic of CongoThe association supports schools in the Northeast of Brazil, offering children and adolescents the opportunity to have an adequate education, thus contributing to the integral development of local communities.
Operation Mato Grosso: Young Volunteers Serving the Poorest
Founded in 1967 by Don Ugo De Censi, Operazione Mato Grosso is a free volunteer movement inspired by Christian values. With over 500 volunteers and about 100 missions in countries such as Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru, the organization is dedicated to educational and charitable projects, building schools, hospitals and community centers. In Italy, more than 200 groups of young people and adults raise funds through manual labor, allocating all proceeds to missions.
