Just like at the end of the seafront, in the southern area, opposite the monument to Salvo D'Acquisto, we find the same mega snail. But blue and not illuminated at night. Cracking Art winks at recycling

In particular, the artistic collective stands out for its large installations exclusively of animals entirely made of plastic that is regenerated exhibition after exhibitionHence the use of the term "cracking," meaning a break, a separation between the natural and the artificial. In this case, this takes on a positive connotation in the choice of recyclable materials, demonstrating the social and environmental commitment of this artistic movement.

Cracking Art as a message of hope and serenity

Specifically, Cracking intends to propose itself as innovation and disruption within the history of art. Precisely, an operation that evokes the break between the natural and the artificial. Indeed, now more than ever it is important to bring the public closer to the dynamics of art. And Cracking Art has been doing this for over 25 years. But in this period it may be essential to begin the rebirth of an area severely affected by lockdown. So, the city of San Benedetto del Tronto with Cracking Art outside wants to offer not just an exhibition evento. But also a message with strong social, environmental and cultural content. In fact, through the appropriation of symbolic places of the city by the Cracking animals, San Benedetto is once again the protagonist. But this year with a renewed, proactive spirit and a new way of enjoying art.
