Covid vaccines, from today in Italy everyone can book themselves regardless of the social category they belong to while the swabs carried out are in sharp decline. On the national territory, another 2,5 million doses of anti vaccines are arriving, in addition to 3,5 million Pfizer already in distribution. The vaccine doses distributed to regions throughout Italy have reached 40 million (39.958.409 according to the official website of the Government). The updated data show that 35.435.853 doses have been administered so far, equal to 88,7 percent of the total distributed, with 12.294.543 people (equal to 22,66 percent of the population over 12) who have completed the vaccination cycle.
Meanwhile, the vaccine produced by the Chinese company Biotech A nephew obtains emergency approval from the World Health Organization (WHO), which approves it as “safe, effective” and compliant with international standards even in the production process. Sinovac, the WHO ruled, is only 51 percent effective in preventing contagion, but 100 percent effective in preventing severe symptoms and hospitalization. This, according to the data of the experiment, which however appears to be incomplete on the incidence of coverage in people aged 60 and over. Vaccines for all and swabs in sharp decline
While vaccination has now become an operation accessible to all, the number of people who do the swab exam to check for possible Covid positivity decreases significantly. In fact, the number of swabs performed has decreased in the last 3 weeks from 662.549 to 439.467, with a decrease of -33,7 percent.
In the same period, an average of 120 people per day per 100 thousand inhabitants were tested with a molecular or antigenic swab, with clear regional differences: from 199 in Lazio to 49 in Puglia.
As regards the trend of the pandemic curve, even today there are very comforting data. According to ministerial reports, there are 1.968 new positive cases today (yesterday 2.897). The deaths of the last 24 hours are 59 (yesterday 62). The carried out molecular and antigenic buffers are 97.633 (yesterday 226.272). Covid patients admitted to intensive care are 892 (yesterday 933). In home isolation they remain 189.953 people infected with the virus (203.259 yesterday). The discharged healed today are 6.392 (yesterday 18.535) while the currently positive cases are 205.562 (yesterday 210.050).
