Italy in the yellow zone becomes a collective euphoria with crowded streets and clubs. A situation that alarms the experts for possible gatherings and the consequent surge in infections. But there is certainly no lack of appeals to comply with anti-contagion restrictions. “Maximum prudence is required throughout the national territory. We must not undermine the progress of the last few weeks, the result of the sacrifices made so far. Yellow zone does not mean narrow escape. The virus circulates and the risk, also due to the variants, remains high. We cannot joke with fire ”.
This, for example, the appeal of Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, published on his Facebook profile. In this regard, the Higher Institute of Health (Iss) points out: “At the moment no scientific evidence has emerged of the need to change the measures, which therefore remain those already in use: masks, social distancing and hand hygiene. However, it is always possible to come into contact with a variant. However, this must lead to the utmost prudence and strict observance of the protection measures ". It must also be said that the Higher Institute of Health has drawn up the Faq (Frequently asked questions) on the topic of variants in order to identify them.
Italy in the yellow zone but the red zones return to Umbria
