Covid emergency: Italy in yellow from tomorrow morning. Almost the whole country will wake up 'yellow zone', with an easing of the bans that will ease the heavy climate experienced in recent weeks. This is due to a high Rt index that has finally dropped. Also thanks to a new interpretation of the dpcm who eliminated the third week of 'observation' to move into the minor penalty range.

An interpretation requested by the governors pressured by the 'victims' categories of the anti-contagion squeeze. Less consoling is the situation in Sicily and the autonomous Province of Bolzano which will turn orange, while Puglia, Sardinia and Umbria will remain so. “Yellow zone does not mean narrow escape - said Health Minister Roberto Speranza - We still need the utmost caution if we do not want to go backwards compared to the progress made in recent weeks".

Italy in yellow but the anti-Covid measures must always be respected

In the 'yellow' regions it will be allowed to move freely between the municipalities but it will still be forbidden, until February 15 and for everyone, to move from one region to another. It remains the curfew from 22pm to 5am that can be broken for "proven needs", work reasons, health and emergencies. Self-certification is only required after 22pm. In the yellow zone, the bars will remain open from 5 to 18, after which it is forbidden to take away from places without a kitchen. The restaurants will also be open until 18pm, afterwards home delivery is allowed and takeaway food is available until 22pm. It will also be possible to visit a museum or admire an exhibition from Monday to Friday but not on holidays and in any case with limited admissions.

Shopping centers are open on weekdays: pharmacies, tobacconists, newsagents and food shops located inside will remain open on Saturdays and holidays. In the regions located in the orange band, bars and restaurants will be closed: for bars, take-away is allowed until 18 pm in rooms with kitchens; for restaurants, take-away and home delivery is allowed. Movements can only take place within one's own municipality. You can leave the municipality only for reasons of health, work, necessity and urgency. Finally, it is allowed to go in two to relatives or friends, from 5 to 22.
