Covid emergency, in Italy the threshold of three million vaccinated with both doses exceeded. Meanwhile, according to data released by the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours in our country, they registered 16.017 new positive cases (yesterday 12.916). The new deaths are 529 (yesterday 417); the discharged healed are 18.687 (yesterday 19.725). Currently the positive cases are altogether 562.832, 3.161 cheaper than yesterday. Also in the last 24 hours they were carried out 301.451 molecular and antigenic buffers. In the intensive care units they are hospitalized 3716 Covid patients; in home isolation they still remain 529.885 people infected with the virus.
Three million people got the Covid vaccine

"The forecasts regarding vaccine supplies for the month of April - said Figliuolo - confirm the current growing trend, with over 8 million doses on the way".
ICU admissions are on the rise
The vaccination campaign is therefore experiencing an important moment of acceleration but the pandemic is not slowing down. The three million Italians who have already had the vaccine are a comforting fact. However, ICU admissions of Covid patients have continued to increase for about three weeks.
The percentage of occupied beds has in fact reached 41 percent compared to 38 percent last week. It detects it the latest analysis ofagenas (National Agency for Regional Health Services) updated on 29 March. On the other hand, the percentage of beds occupied by Covid-44 patients in ordinary wards rises to 40 per cent (compared to the critical threshold set at 19 per cent).
