The goal, as the president explains Joseph Cafarella, is that of overcoming discomfort in its various forms and places music at the center of the new project. "Overcoming economic and social hardship and that generated by disability through excellent and professionalizing training opportunities is the mission of the Association. After the positive experience, in recent years, of the social inclusion and advanced theatrical education initiative with the elementary school of theater directed by the director Davide Iodice, we decided to focus on a new project where music is the protagonist. Young people with economic or social hardship or with physical or intellectual disabilities can attend this conservatory for free».
Release of the announcement and useful information
The notice of participation will be available starting from 1 September 2018 on the website of Forgat Onlus. The project is aimed to musicians, student musicians and choristers aged between 18 and 35 with financial or other hardship. The course will be divided into three years. The first cycle will start in October 2018 and will be completed in June 2019. The goal is to create a free high school music training. The teaching staff will be made up of conductors, artistic directors, musicians, choristers and workers of the highest level; in particular, the composer and musician Carlo Faiello and the musician Enzo Amato. The courses will take place at the Domus Ars, in the heart of the city.
