Il Municipalities Project was born from the Italiani.it Foundation's desire to build a bridge between Italian local governments and Italian communities around the world. Through memoranda of understanding with municipalities and local entities, the project connects governments to give visibility and a voice to Italian communities, creating a space for dialogue where mayors, administrators, and communities can share their local excellence with an audience that includes millions of Italians living abroad. Each municipality becomes a protagonist: interviews, events, and shared initiatives allow for the valorization of local traditions and the strengthening of ties with emigrant citizens and their descendants. A project that gives voice to Italy, from north to south, reaching Italians wherever they are.
