After a period that was all in all spring-like, rain and cold are coming to Italy. All the weather sites are talking about it and they agree on this: starting today, Sunday 6 April, the weather conditions will change, marking a final blow of winter with widespread rainfall and significant drops in temperatures.
In some cities, maximum temperatures will drop by several degrees in just a few hours.
Weather Italy: a week of cold
This cold wave will last 5-7 days everywhere with temperatures dropping by as much as 10 degrees in some areas. Snowfall is expected in the central Apennines up to 1.100 meters above sea level. In Sardinia great instability expected, with many rainfall.
Precipitation is expected across the Belpaese between Monday and Tuesday with widespread precipitation. In short, a significant climate change for all areas of Italy with snowfall at relatively low altitudes.
