How much is known we Italians love il chocolate. And also of how many master chocolatiers are present in our country. Celebrating this noble and tasty food does it really well. One of the most important events dedicated to chocolate has been held in Bologna since 15 18 to November. We are talking about Cioccoshow 2018.
The event reaches its fourteenth edition
Also this year Bologna will host one of the most important fairs dedicated to chocolate. From the 15 18 November the Cioccoshow will take place in the area Piazza XX Settembre. The event, now atedition number fourteen, Sara organized by the National Craft Confederation and by BF Servizi, specialized in setting up fairs.
The event will be held at the end of the Book Fair, another important event held twice a year in Bologna. To allow easy organization of the Cioccoshow, the Municipality of Bologna shortened the Fair in its autumn appointment, extending the spring one.
A real chocolate fair
A necessary clarification to make is that Cioccoshow is not simply a chocolate festival, but a real dedicated fair, which involves not only greedy and curious, but also and above all professionals in the sector. They will also be set up WORKSHOPS taught by master chocolatiers and there will be gods prizes to be awarded. The most important is the one dedicated to the teacher Angelo Solero, which this year will be awarded to the chocolatier Mario Morri. In Piazza Re Enzo, however, there will be a craft workshop open to the public and to schools, every day of the festival from 10 to 19. It will be organized by the CiocchinBo master chocolatiers. In Piazza Galvani, instead, the Bolognesi Pastry Chefs Association will hold a real one School of Chocolate, a course for adults and children aged 6 to 13.
It is customary, during the event, to also organize unique exhibitions that bind characters from the art world and chocolate. In 2010, for example, the exhibition was set up Ma Caravaggio, did you love chocolate?, on the occasion of the XNUMXth anniversary of the Lombard painter's death.
