A historic milestone for the referees' section, which is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary in Cassino. Thus, on Friday, April 12th, in addition to celebrating half a century of the section's history, the new headquarters will also be inaugurated. A long history of sport and association life that began in Cassino in 1974 thanks to Alfredo FedeliIt all started with that young referee from Rome who, for work reasons, decided to settle in our city.

The fiftieth anniversary of the section is celebrated on Friday 12th April Referees of Cassino. A section founded in 1974 by the Roman referee Alfredo Fedeli, and which today continues its mission of training boys and girls as soccer referees. The event begins in the afternoon with the inauguration of the new headquarters on Via Cristoforo Colombo. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be performed by the Section President, Marco Lambert, in the presence of the Mayor, Enzo Salera, and of the National President, Carlo Pacifici. The Section welcomes young people animated by the love for the Calcium and who also become guardians of the rules of the game. It is a source of pride for the city of Cassino and its territory. At the conclusion of the fiftieth anniversary ceremony, a beautiful moment is the one during which important awards are given. The most significant are: the Premio "David Troiano“, which goes to the referee Matteo Tomeo. The City of Cassino Award conferred to Elvio Picano, former Section President, a historical figure and associate of absolute value both technically and humanly. Finally, an acknowledgement goes to Francesco Capraro, a prominent figure at the management level, who maintains a tireless commitment to the Cassino Section.
