Cinema, December is coming: Christmas comedies and the wait for “Me against you”

The most anticipated films are coming to the cinema, after “thethe boy with pink pants” which is truly registering an incredible success in these weeks, one thinks of the releases that will be in the next few weeks in Italian cinemas. Christmas is approaching, the anticipation for the films coming out is growing, and, as we know, in this period there are always so many films ready to fill the cinemas. With the cold coming, there is an ever-increasing desire to spend time in the warmth, letting yourself be pampered by the comfort of the armchairs and tasting the ever-present popcorn.

But what are the films coming out in December and during the Christmas period in Italy?

The Christmas comeback: De Sica is still the protagonist

Starting from the Christmas comedies, on December 23rd the film “Cortina Express” with Christian De Sica, Isabella Ferrari and Paolo Calabresi. The plot is the most classic of Christmas comedies: during the Christmas holidays, the streets and slopes of Cortina are populated by the most diverse characters, gathered among the enchanting snow-capped Ampezzo mountains to have fun. Among them, we meet Lucio De Roberti, an irresistible viveur who tries to save his nephew from a disastrous marriage; Dino Doni, a now faded musical star, in search of redemption and above all the love of his daughter; and Patrizia Giordano, a volcanic record producer struggling with the risk of bankruptcy and a somewhat lazy husband. Together with them, many other characters, each involuntarily linked to the fate of the others in hilarious situations, seek their own happy ending.

For the little ones, there is a lot of anticipation for “Me Against You Presents: Very Bad at Christmas” with Sofia Scalia and Luigi Calagna, which will be released on December 12. The plot tells of a story that takes place on Christmas Eve and at the North Pole, in Santa Claus's toy factory, preparations for the most magical night of the year begin. Luì and Sofì are also getting ready to celebrate but a mischievous elf has targeted them with continuous pranks and dreams of ruining Christmas for all the good children. It will be the very bad Mr. S., Perfidia and Velenia - the mischievous daughter of Perfidia - who will have to help Santa Claus save the situation in this hilarious adventure at the North Pole.
