Following the injury sustained during the match against Pisa, Lecce midfielder Berisha underwent an MRI scan at the "Quarta Colosso" Radiology Center in Lecce.
The examination revealed a second-degree injury to the rectus femoris of the right thigh. Berisha is an essential piece for Lecce: a regular starter, the midfielder was distinguishing himself with his positive performances and his contribution on the pitch had become fundamental for the team.

Here's the statement from the Salento club: "US Lecce announces that the player Medon Berisha, following the injury sustained during the Lecce-Pisa match, underwent an MRI scan this morning at the "Quarta Colosso" Radiology Center in Lecce, which revealed a grade-II tear of the rectus femoris in his right thigh."
Recovery times
Regarding recovery time, Berisha is expected to return to the field in approximately a month and a half to two months, depending on his response to treatment and physiotherapy. While waiting for his return, Lecce will have to rely on other options to maintain the team's competitiveness.
